This Privacy Policy explains how Likewise PH (“Likewise,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, customer mobile app, merchant mobile app, driver mobile app, and related services.

1. Services Covered
This policy applies to the Likewise PH website and all Likewise PH apps, including customer, merchant, and driver applications that work together for food, grocery, delivery, order management, payment, and marketplace services.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Likewise PH, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: name, email address, profile picture if available, phone number, username, account type, and login details.
- Google Sign-In information: name, email address, and profile picture if available, used to create and manage your Likewise PH account profile.
- Customer order information: items ordered, store or merchant selected, notes to merchant or rider, delivery or pickup choice, order status, and transaction history.
- Phone number: Philippine phone numbers used for account contact, order coordination, delivery updates, and security purposes.
- Delivery address and location: delivery address and map pin location when you choose delivery or use map-based delivery features. Location is used for order delivery, rider navigation, and delivery status updates, not as a required signup field.
- Merchant information: store name, store details, products, prices, order status updates, operating status, and business-related account information.
- Driver information: driver profile, delivery assignments, delivery status, location needed for pickup and delivery, and vehicle-related details when applicable.
- Payment information: selected payment method such as Cash on Delivery, GCash, card, wallet, or other available payment channels. Sensitive card or e-wallet credentials may be processed by third-party payment providers and are not intended to be stored directly by Likewise PH unless clearly stated.
- Device and technical information: device type, app version, IP address, logs, crash reports, browser type, operating system, and security-related usage data.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create, verify, and manage user accounts and profiles.
- Enable Google Sign-In and account authentication.
- Process customer orders, pickup, delivery, merchant preparation, and rider assignment.
- Show order status, delivery status, maps, and notifications.
- Allow merchants to manage products, orders, availability, and store operations.
- Allow drivers to receive assignments, navigate to merchants and customers, and update delivery progress.
- Process payments, refunds, wallet activity, and payment records where available.
- Communicate with users regarding orders, account issues, support, safety, and service updates.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
- Improve the reliability, performance, and usability of our website and mobile apps.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, dispute, and law enforcement requirements where applicable.
4. Google API and Limited Use Disclosure
Likewise PH uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate users and retrieve basic profile information such as name, email address, and profile picture if available. We use this information only to create, identify, secure, and manage your Likewise PH account.
Likewise PH’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Location Information
Location and map pin information may be collected when customers choose delivery, when drivers perform delivery tasks, or when location is needed to show pickup, delivery, and navigation status. We do not require map location during customer signup. You may control app location permissions through your device settings, but disabling location may affect delivery and map features.
6. Payments
Likewise PH may support Cash on Delivery, GCash, card payments, wallet payments, and other payment methods. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. We may keep transaction references, order totals, payment status, and payment logs for accounting, dispute resolution, support, and legal compliance.
7. Sharing of Information
We may share limited information only when needed to operate the service:
- Customers, merchants, and drivers may receive necessary order, contact, delivery, and status information to complete a transaction.
- Payment providers may receive information needed to process payments.
- Service providers may help us with hosting, analytics, notifications, maps, security, and customer support.
- Authorities, regulators, or legal parties may receive information when required by law or valid legal process.
We do not sell personal information.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for account management, order history, delivery records, payment records, legal compliance, dispute handling, security, and legitimate business purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely retain it as required by law.
9. Account Deletion
You may request or initiate account deletion inside the Likewise PH app. You may also visit our account deletion page at /delete-account/ or contact support@likewiseph.com.
After account deletion, we may delete or anonymize account profile data, subject to information we must retain for legitimate reasons such as transaction records, legal compliance, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, and safety.
10. User Choices and Rights
You may update your account information, manage device permissions, request access or correction, and request deletion of your account. Users in the Philippines may have rights under applicable data privacy laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
11. Children’s Privacy
Likewise PH is intended for users who can lawfully use delivery, marketplace, and payment services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no internet or mobile app service can guarantee absolute security.
13. International and Third-Party Services
Some service providers, such as hosting, payment, analytics, notification, authentication, or map providers, may process information outside your province or country. We require such services to process information only for authorized purposes where applicable.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Likewise PH after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
